OUR STORY
It all started in 2009 when we moved to Dodds Manor Farm with our 2 children, 3 dogs, a pony and a handful of chickens. Normally working as a Project Manager in the London Property Industry and as a Beauty Therapist, farming was not our background or our intention.
From tiny seeds grow mighty trees. What began as a step into the unknown has become a passion to provide natural, excellent quality beef that when people eat, they can taste the difference.

WHAT DRIVES US
We want to farm according to sustainable principles and in harmony with the environment. Employing the highest standards of animal welfare and environmental care to produce the very best food.
Our cattle live outside and forage all year round. The herd is fed a natural diet of grass in summer with the addition of some hay in winter. No additives, no growth promoters, no in-feed anti-biotics.
Pesticide and herbicide usage on the farm over the years has been minimal. This has encouraged the spread of clover and produced pastures with a rich and diverse flora improving the farms contribution to wildlife conservation.
Our aim is to provide our cattle with a stress-free existence. Calves are left to suckle with their mothers until around 9 months, the arrival of the next generation. As our cattle forage outside all year round in family groups it allows the animal’s natural instincts and behavioral patterns to be fully expressed.
